Terms of Use
Last updated:
These terms cover your use of the Adey app. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Adey is
Adey helps you track your menstrual cycle and pregnancy using the Ethiopian calendar. It gives estimates and general information.
2. Not medical advice
Adey is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Period, ovulation and fertile-window dates are estimates and can be wrong.
- Do not use Adey as a method of contraception.
- Due dates, weight ranges and check-up schedules are general guidance. Your health worker's advice comes first.
- If you have a danger sign in pregnancy, heavy bleeding, severe pain or any urgent concern, go to a health facility straight away.
3. Your account
An account is optional. If you sign in, keep access to your Google account secure. You are responsible for who you link as a partner and for what you choose to share with them.
4. Acceptable use
Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial tracking. Do not try to access other people's data, disrupt the service, or copy the app's content for resale.
5. Content
Articles and tips are for general education. We work to keep them accurate but cannot promise they are complete or right for your situation.
6. Availability
The app is provided as it is. Backup and partner features depend on an internet connection and may be unavailable at times. Keep in mind that data stored only on your phone is lost if the phone is lost or the app is removed, unless you have made a backup.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the app's estimates or content, or for loss of data stored on your device.
8. Ending use
You can stop using Adey and delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: melaku.demeke789@gmail.com.
